GUIDE: ANTHONY LAMB

Fujifilm X Photographer Anthony Lamb is a fine art photographer based in the UK and United Arab Emirates. British-born, Anthony was always motivated to pursue a career in the arts, attending art college and completing a BA (Hons) in Furniture and Product Design. His interest in photography was a combination of several influences. When he was young, he was lucky enough to travel to some extraordinary locations such as the European Alps, North Africa and the Scottish Highlands. These visits fuelled Anthony’s love of the wilderness and created an appreciation for uninhabited areas and places where solitary embodiment was possible. Combining his fascination with the natural environment and his passion for minimalist art and design, inspired Anthony to pick up a camera in 2003. His intention; to document his outdoor experiences using a simplistic interpretation of the landscape.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Five day photo tour with professional photographer Anthony Lamb. On the go breakfast is included on all days. Transport during the workshop is also included. Leading photography advice from an acclaimed fine art photographer. Not included in the price are flights to France, visa, insurance, getting to the meeting point and food other than the above.

Sturdy footwear and suitable clothing is required. Although the course does not include any difficult hiking routes, a prerequisite for participating in the course is a medium level of physical fitness. We assume no liability in the event of any accident. The course takes place in all weather conditions. The course provider assumes no liability for any damage to the camera or photo equipment or persons during the workshop. Nature and landscape conservation is important, so please take this into account during our excursions.

Includes:

5 day photography workshop, 5 nights in a four or five star hotel, breakfast, transport during workshop hours.

Excludes:

Transport to and from meeting point, other meals not mentioned above, accommodation, airfare to and from France, visa, insurance and photography gear.

PAYMENT & TERMS

Payment Terms:

An initial Deposit of 30% is required to secure your booking.

Final Balance:

Final balance will be requested 3 months prior to the start date. Full payment will be requested, if booking is made within 3 months of workshop / tour start date. We reserve the right to cancel your space if we cannot get in touch with you or your final payment is past the due date.

Cancellation Policy:

As we have to pay for deposits upfront to our third parties (hotels, guides, tutors, classroom spaces etc.) the deposits should be regarded as non-refundable. However, In the event of a cancellation from your side, we will do all we can to provide a refund to you based on any refundable costs and backfills of the space. Please note, all cancellations will incur a AED 1,000 ($275) administrative fee (deducted from any refund) for covering the resources involved in the back-filling process. If Capture Beyond cancels the workshop, a full refund will be provided.
