INTRODUCTION
Join Anthony Lamb for an intimate six-day photography workshop exploring the spectacular coastlines of Northern France and Brittany. From the iconic fishing huts of Pornic and the historic walled city of Saint-Malo to the extraordinary Mont Saint-Michel and rugged pink granite coastline, this carefully curated journey offers a wealth of opportunities for minimalist landscape, fine art and long-exposure photography. We'll explore atmospheric seascapes, secluded beaches, historic lighthouses and dramatic coastal formations, making the most of the beautiful autumn light. With expert guidance in the field, creative discussions and dedicated image review and editing sessions, this workshop is designed to inspire, develop your photographic vision and help you create a distinctive body of work.
OVERVIEW
Day 1 (7th Nov) Arrival & Pornic
Arrive at Nantes Atlantique Airport before 13.00, followed by a transfer to La Fontaine aux Bretons in Pornic. After checking in and settling into the hotel, we head out for our first photography session at the iconic fishing huts of Pornic. Capture the traditional Atlantic carrelets in the soft golden light of sunset before returning to the hotel for dinner.
Day 2 (8th Nov) Pornic & Saint-Malo
An early morning shoot at the Pornic fishing huts, capturing the changing light and potential coastal mist. We then travel north to Saint-Malo, where we'll spend the afternoon exploring the historic ramparts, atmospheric old town and dramatic coastline. Opportunities for long-exposure photography along Plage du Sillon and the famous sea-pool diving board.
Day 3 (9th Nov) Mont Saint-Michel
An early departure for the extraordinary Mont Saint-Michel, arriving in time to photograph the abbey at dawn. We'll explore the surrounding tidal landscapes, atmospheric architecture and minimalist compositions throughout the day. Depending on weather, tides and group preferences, we may also visit the colourful beach cabins at Gouville-sur-Mer before returning to Saint-Malo.
Day 4 (10th Nov) Brittany's Granite Coast
Today we journey west along Brittany's spectacular coastline, photographing the iconic Maison du Gouffre at Plougrescant and the beautiful pink granite formations surrounding Ploumanac'h lighthouse. After lunch, we continue to Roscoff and check into Hôtel Brittany & Spa. The afternoon concludes with a photography presentation, image review and editing session with Anthony.
Day 5 (11th Nov) Finistère & Le Conquet
Explore the rugged beauty of northern Finistère, beginning with the coastal scenery around Roscoff before visiting Plage des Amiets and the wild granite landscapes of Ménez Ham. After lunch in the charming fishing village of Le Conquet, we'll photograph the striking Kermorvan Lighthouse and surrounding coastline. We then return to Pornic for our final evening and a celebratory group dinner.
Day 6 (12th Nov) Final Shoot & Departure
An optional final sunrise shoot at the Pornic fishing huts offers one last opportunity to capture these beautiful coastal structures in changing morning conditions. We'll return to the hotel for breakfast and a final catch-up, sharing images and reflecting on the week's experiences. Check-out is followed by our transfer to Nantes Atlantique Airport for onward flights. Departing the hotel prior to 11.00am unless your flight is earlier.

GUIDE: ANTHONY LAMB
Fujifilm X Photographer Anthony Lamb is a fine art photographer based in the UK and United Arab Emirates. British-born, Anthony was always motivated to pursue a career in the arts, attending art college and completing a BA (Hons) in Furniture and Product Design. His interest in photography was a combination of several influences. When he was young, he was lucky enough to travel to some extraordinary locations such as the European Alps, North Africa and the Scottish Highlands. These visits fuelled Anthony’s love of the wilderness and created an appreciation for uninhabited areas and places where solitary embodiment was possible. Combining his fascination with the natural environment and his passion for minimalist art and design, inspired Anthony to pick up a camera in 2003. His intention; to document his outdoor experiences using a simplistic interpretation of the landscape.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Five day photo tour with professional photographer Anthony Lamb. On the go breakfast is included on all days. Transport during the workshop is also included. Leading photography advice from an acclaimed fine art photographer. Not included in the price are flights to France, visa, insurance, getting to the meeting point and food other than the above.
Sturdy footwear and suitable clothing is required. Although the course does not include any difficult hiking routes, a prerequisite for participating in the course is a medium level of physical fitness. We assume no liability in the event of any accident. The course takes place in all weather conditions. The course provider assumes no liability for any damage to the camera or photo equipment or persons during the workshop. Nature and landscape conservation is important, so please take this into account during our excursions.

Excludes:
Transport to and from meeting point, other meals not mentioned above, accommodation, airfare to and from France, visa, insurance and photography gear.

PAYMENT & TERMS
Payment Terms:
An initial Deposit of 30% is required to secure your booking.
Final Balance:
Final balance will be requested 3 months prior to the start date. Full payment will be requested, if booking is made within 3 months of workshop / tour start date. We reserve the right to cancel your space if we cannot get in touch with you or your final payment is past the due date.
Cancellation Policy:
As we have to pay for deposits upfront to our third parties (hotels, guides, tutors, classroom spaces etc.) the deposits should be regarded as non-refundable. However, In the event of a cancellation from your side, we will do all we can to provide a refund to you based on any refundable costs and backfills of the space. Please note, all cancellations will incur a AED 1,000 ($275) administrative fee (deducted from any refund) for covering the resources involved in the back-filling process. If Capture Beyond cancels the workshop, a full refund will be provided.
