MARK CORNICK

Mark is a Surrey based photographer working on abstract and contemporary landscape projects in coastal locations.

Mark has always felt a strong connection to the coast, especially the beaches of West Cornwall, which he first set foot on from the age of two months!

ANTHONY LAMB

Anthony is a UK and UAE based photographer. In his photographs, negative space and an ethereal aesthetic provide the viewer with a sense of serenity and calm.

Incorporating a minimalistic approach within his photography and drawn to water and open space; you will see these narratives in many of his photographs.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Experience Cornwall like never before. Join Mark Cornick and Anthony Lamb on a fully immersive photography retreat exploring the raw beauty of some of the UK’s most striking coastal landscapes. Guided by two acclaimed fine art photographers, you’ll discover the beaches that first inspired Mark’s iconic ICM work while developing your own vision through ICM, long exposure, and minimalist techniques. This thoughtfully curated experience includes breakfast, lunch, and transport throughout the workshop, allowing you to focus entirely on creating, learning, and refining your craft. A rare opportunity to slow down, see differently, and capture Cornwall at its most atmospheric, all this while staying in a 4 Gold Star hotel right on the Cornish coast!

Includes:

4 day photography workshop, 4 nights in a 4 Gold Star AA-rated hotel on the waters edge, breakfast, lunch and transport during workshop hours.

Excludes:

Transport to and from meeting point, other meals not mentioned above, accommodation, airfare to and from the UK, visa, insurance and photography gear.

PAYMENT & TERMS

Payment Terms:

An initial Deposit of 30% is required to secure your booking.

Final Balance:

Final balance will be requested 3 months prior to the start date. Full payment will be requested, if booking is made within 3 months of workshop / tour start date. We reserve the right to cancel your space if we cannot get in touch with you or your final payment is past the due date.

Cancellation Policy:

As we have to pay for deposits upfront to our third parties (hotels, guides, tutors, classroom spaces etc.) the deposits should be regarded as non-refundable. However, In the event of a cancellation from your side, we will do all we can to provide a refund to you based on any refundable costs and backfills of the space. Please note, all cancellations will incur a AED 1,000 ($275) administrative fee (deducted from any refund) for covering the resources involved in the back-filling process. If Capture Beyond cancels the workshop, a full refund will be provided.
