INTRODUCTION

This four day trip of a lifetime offers you the chance to embed yourself into the natural heart of Abu Dhabi, the Liwa Desert, but with five star luxury. With the advantage of a professional photographer on hand, first, we will explore the tranquil sand dunes and singular photogenic trees that scatter the surreal desert landscape. The carefully selected hidden locations offer multiple composition opportunities in order to help diversify your portfolio. We will all stay in a luxurious 5 star desert retreat, providing perfect access to the desert beyond.

OVERVIEW

Day 1 (18th Nov) Flight to Abu Dhabi arriving before 14.00 on the 18th November, this will then allow you the time to settle into your hotel room before we head out for the first sunset shoot. In 4x4's, we head off the beaten track to a select number of locations with small dunes.

Day 2 (19th Nov) We will rise early for the trip of a lifetime into the Arabian desert for a memorable sunrise. We'll spend three hours exploring the desert dunes and desert plains, we then head back to the hotel for a late breakfast. After breakfast, Anthony will introduce himself through a presentation about his desert work and sharing some tips and tricks. After lunch, we head out in the late afternoon and you will have the opportunity to explore the famous fossilised dunes, we'll then head back to the hotel for drinks and an evening meal.

Day 3 (20th Nov) The big day! Heading into Liwa's heart, we will be on the road / off road most of the day, from sunrise to mid-afternoon. Breakfast and lunch will be on the go, we then head back to the hotel for a much needed rest. In the evening we will explore the desert during the full moon and capture the dunes bathed in monochrome moonlight.

Day 4 (21st Nov) The last full day will be a mix of morning photography and a edit masterclass in the afternoon where Anthony will take you through an in depth look at editing styles, processing, sharpening techniques and more. We will also have the chance to see some of the photographs you have captured during the trip and edit some of the images using some of the techniques Anthony has shared.

Departure (22nd Nov) For those who we are interested, we will have the opportunity to capture one last desert sunrise prior to departure. Depart Abu Dhabi after 12.00 unless your flight is prior to this time.
